Lottery Spells

Lottery spells are basically good luck spells to help you win some money with lottery tickets. Games of chance are tricky so don’t expect tons of riches this way. It can be tough to use magic this way. It’s usually a better bet to go with a less-specific money spell.

Anyway, if you’re a lottery fan, try these.

For the usual style of lottery, where you choose numbers on a ticket and wait to see what numbers are drawn to win, this is a spell to help get those elusive winning digits. You’ll need:

• A pendulum
• A green candle
• Pine incense
• Sprigs of sweetgrass, lemon balm and borage
• Piece of paper
• Green marker

If you don’t own a “real” pendulum, you can hang any small object from a length of chain or string. Draw a septagram (see image up to the right there) on the paper in green, and pile the herbs up in the center of the star. Light the candle and incense nearby.

Hold the pendulum by the end of the string so that the bob or object hangs in the center of the circle. Now comes the hard part. You need to think about getting that winning number.

First, focus on the first number. Start by saying “1” out loud and watching the pendulum. If it does nothing, say “2” and so on. At some point, it will give a shimmy and you should write that down as the first number. Then go on to the next digit until you have all the numbers you need for your specific lottery.

Get a ticket, and play these numbers for at least 3 weeks. It may not be effective for the immediate next draw.

Scratch Magic

This lottery spell is a little different, it’s a spell you cast before you go to buy a scratch-type ticket. It should help guide you to pick a winning ticket.

• 3 acorns
• 5 dry corn kernels
• A small piece of malachite

Hold the acorns and corn kernels between your hands, as well as the piece of malachite. Rub your hands together, without letting any of the seeds drop out. Repeat the following:

Nuts and seeds
Where wealth leads,
Mix and match,
Choose a scratch

Now continue rubbing your hands together until all the pieces fall out from between your hands. The day after you do this spell, tuck the piece of malachite in your palm when you are pointing out the scratch ticket you want. Hopefully, you’ll now pick out a winner.
